Description-I

Hydralyte Ready To Use Orange Flavoured Electrolyte Solution Helps Replace Electrolytes Lost Due To Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Heavy Sweating And Dehydration.

Directions

Do not dilute. Sip slowly. Refrigerate after opening.
Under 12 months: 100ml every 90mins.
1 to 3 years: 100ml every 90mins. 3 to 6 years: 100ml every 60mins. 7 to 12 years: 100ml every 30mins. 12 to adult: 200ml every 30mins.

Ingredients

Sodium Chloride 2.5ml/ml
Equiv. Chloride 1.5ml/ml & Equiv. Sodium 1.0mg/ml
Potassium Citrate 2.1mg/ml
Equiv. Potassium 800mcg/ml & Equiv. Citrate 1.3mg/ml
Citric Acid 4.8mg/ml
Equiv. Citrate 4.4mg/ml & Glucose 16mg/ml.

Warnings

Dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhoea can be dangerous in young children under 5 years old, babies and older people.
Seek medical advice if diarrhoea persists for more than:
6 hours in infants under 6 months. 12 hours in children under 3 years. 24 hours in children aged 3 to 6 years. 48 hours for adults and children over 6 years.
Avoid full strength fruit juice, soft drink, sports drinks or cordial, as these can speed up the dehydration process by worsening diarrhoea and stripping the body of essential mineral salts.
