Description

Alka-Seltzer, Lemon Lime Flavour, Fast Relief For Headache With Upset Stomach, Body Aches And Pains. 20 Effervescent Tablets.

Directions

Allow Alka-Seltzer to dissolve in a glass of water before taking.
Adults: 2 tablets every 4 hours as necessary, up to 8 tablets in 24 hours for no more than 10 days.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains: Aspirin (buffered) 324mg.
Also contains: Sodium Bicarbonate 1.976g and Citric Acid 1.00g (excipients).
This preparation contains 1.182g per dose sodium which should be taken into account by those on a low sodium diet.
Alka-Seltzer in water becomes sodium acetylsalicylate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium citrate.

Warnings

Do not give to children under 12 years of age unless on doctor??s advice.
This preparation is for the relief of minor and temporary ailments and should be used strictly as directed.
Prolonged use could be harmful.
Consult your doctor before taking this medication with corticosteroids or alcohol.
Consult a doctor before giving this medicine to children or teenagers with chicken pox, influenza or fever.
Do not use in the presence of asthma, a stomach ulcer, if you are pregnant or if you are taking anticoagulant medication (unless advised by your doctor). Do not take if you are allergic to aspirin.
